Fruit Salad with Blackberry Basil Vinaigrette

8 cups mixed greens
1 ½ c. sliced mango
1 ½ c. pink grapefruit segments
1 ½ c. fresh sliced strawberries
1 c. fresh blackberries
1 large avocado, sliced

Toss with dressing:

Blackberry Basil Vinaigrette

½ (10oz) jar seedless blackberry preserves (I have also used raspberry)
¼ c red wine vinegar
6 fresh basil leaves
1 garlic clove, sliced
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. seasoned pepper
¾ c. vegetable oil

Pulse preserves and vinegar; add next 4 ingredients. With blender running, add oil slowly. Process until smooth.

Serves 6
